Heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined the 2025 HKSMI Scientific Meeting & AGM at the Cordis Hotel! It was an inspiring evening with enlightening talks by Dr. Alfred Lee on cutting-edge microbiological diagnostics for bloodstream infections and Dr. Lowell Ling on the utility of multiplex PCR for ICU pneumonia cases.

We are also delighted to welcome our newly elected Executive Committee (2025–2027) and extend our deepest gratitude to our President, Professor Christopher Lai, for outstanding leadership as well as Dr. River Wong for his contribution to our society.
